Many of you don'y like to spend out thousands of Euro every year for laser hair removal. Worse yet, less money on wax treatments which are more painfull, or shaving legs every few days to keep them silky smooth, just to have them get stubbly again 14 hours later. I recently had the privilege to try the Silk'n as the new home solution which is long term hair removal portable device.

 

I was skeptical before using the Silkn SensEpil, as anything that claims to give the same results as clinics treatment, that can be used at home.  So I got my Silk'n

 

and got to work, to see what it could be like.

 

 

 

Silk'n has a great reputation for FDA approved, as hair removal devices, so that made me feel a little safer and I must also say that the device is pretty handy. I would compare it to any electric hair trimmer, or shaver in its size.

 

 

 

I got the Silk'n SensEpil out of the box, plugged it in, and then got the attached DVD out (I know: not many people will read or watch the instructions first, but I always do for safety reasons). The DVD started by showing about the device, how it worked to remove hair and that it would take approximately 3-4 sessions for most people to remove most of their hair. After watching the DVD, I started with my legs, as leg hair is less thick than other hair and I wanted to see how effective it was before moving on to other areas.

 

 

Each Silk'n SensEpil's light is designed to flash 750 times or more, and I have to say that I didn't count the number of flashes -- but that machine truly knocked the hair. 

One big concern before using the Silkn was if it would be painful to use or not really so the result:it wasn't painful at- all. It felt like my skin got warm in the spot I was treating, however, it wasn't that warm to say it would burn my skin.

My first and biggest treatment with the Silk'n went for about 35 minutes. 

After this period of time I have done two legs below the knees and packed it back in the box. 

 

Just a two weeks later I was doing my second treatments with the  Silk'n, the hair growth was really reduced. Now I can see how this new thechnology shows a great result just like any laser device I've used before at the clinic. After a few treatment 65% of my hair stopped glowing and still I had a half way to finish the full treatment of 3.5 months all together.
