Hair removal market has dozens of products and technologies that are working in different ways.

The methods: 

Wax - pulling out hair with a sticky material 

Shaving - Shaving is the most ancient method of hair removal

Laser devices - the devices are also used in commercial and home use 

IPL devices-devices use IPL light for hair removed 

The old methods of hair removal such as waxing, shaving facial hair tearing are gradually replaced by advanced devices –new  technologies: the photo epilation light method and laser. 

The old hair removal methods are more painfull. Also the laser is more painfull than the light based (IPL) which shows good results as a large number of patients prefer the IPL light system which is less painful and provides the same result.

These devices are capable of reducing the amount of hair in the percentage of 30% to 90%, but it’s individual for each patient and depends on the hair color and skin tone as well as the patient's hair thick and hair growth cycle. 

The laser and the light based methods are not recommended for very dark skin or those with very fair hair, so before buying you should determine whether the device is right for you. 

IPL light method result can be seen already after 4 treatments. It’s recommended to use two weeks intervals between treatments.

Before treatment you need to shave the treated area and ensure that the area clean. You can then start the treatment. 

You should not go through the same spot more than once per treatment in order not to cause excessive skin exposure. Nor is there exposed to the sun for two weeks before and after treatment. If there is sun exposure before and after treatment may appear side effects such as skin patches on other stimuli. In this case, contact your doctor for review.
